The company begins commercial-scale production of its energy-efficient Scrypt ASIC mining chips, marking a major milestone in its growth trajectory.
Lokotech Group AS announces the commencement of commercial-scale production of its proprietary Scrypt ASIC mining chips, representing a pivotal transition from the research and development phase to full-scale manufacturing.
The production launch follows the successful validation of first-generation prototype chips completed in late 2024. The company's custom silicon, designed from the ground up for Scrypt algorithm mining, delivers an industry-leading energy efficiency of 0.21 J/MH — a 3–5x improvement over competing solutions.
CEO Ola Stene-Johansen commented: 'This milestone validates years of engineering investment. Our chips are now in production at our foundry partner's facilities, and the first Hash Blade mining units are being assembled for delivery to early customers.'
The commercial production phase is expected to accelerate revenue growth as the company fulfills pre-orders and expands distribution through its partner network. Lokotech anticipates initial shipments to begin arriving at customer facilities within the coming weeks.
